Playback Clips Offline

Once you have created a Playlist, you can download for OFFLINE playback. 

Select the Offline Folio Tab from the Folio Player Menu.


 

Find your Playlist and choose “Create/Update Folio”

Choose the +Create/Update Folio button just below the Video Player.  Your Playlist will be processed and created.

 


 

DOWNLOAD 

Once your Playlist is available for download – a Download Icon will appear just below “Actions”.


 

Press the download button and a Zip file of your Folio Player will download.

Please note:  this Zip will download to your current Default Download Folder.  You will need to locate on your computer where the Zip File was downloaded to.
 
File name structure example:     Calhoun Clips_ID07252018161322.zip


  



OPENING ZIP FILE
 

Pro Tip:    Once you have located your Zip file, we recommend you create a Folder to EXTRACT your Zip into.   Extract your Zip by Right-clicking and Extracting into your newly created folder.

 
Once you have extracted your ZIP file – you will have 4 new files in your Folder.

Right click on the “index.html” button and choose Firefox or Edge.

Captions will not playback in Chrome or Internet Explorer – Captions will playback offline with Microsoft Edge, Firefox and Safari.


Another Pro Tip: If you have MULTIPLE Folio Player Zips - multiple clip packages you have created - you need to create a new FOLDER for each Folio Player you download, so that each clip package will playback properly.
